I’ve been developing a custom load cell diagnostic tester as an ongoing instrumentation project. The aim is to bring several useful test functions into one portable system, combining measurement electronics, switching hardware and a simple touchscreen interface.
At this stage I’m keeping the project fairly high level, as the design is still evolving. The main focus is on building a reliable platform that can run repeatable tests, present the results clearly and eventually automatically generate reports as the project develops.
